Backer Rod
Made of moisture repellent closed cell foam, it is ideal for filling wall joints or cracks in concrete. It saves expensive caulk.
Installation: For best results, the product should be slightly larger in diameter than the width of the joint. Cut the product to the length required and press it into the opening with your finger or a blunt tool. Leave at least 1/4" (6 mm) clearance below the surface for the caulk. Then caulk as usual, using almost any type of caulk.
Can be used to seal foundation bases and fill pavement cracks.
